PetStickerMaker ("we", "us") turns photos of your pet into stickers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and your pet photos are used only to make your sticker.
What we collect
- Pet photos you upload — needed to generate your sticker.
- Your email address — only if you choose to save stickers to an account or log in. You can use the service without one.
- A session cookie (
psm_session) — an HttpOnly cookie that lasts 30 days so we can remember which stickers are yours. - IP address and browser details — captured when you upload a photo, stored with your job, and used for security/debugging and for advertising-measurement signals we share with Meta (see Cookies and advertising below).
We never see or store your card or Apple Pay details. Stripe processes payments for us. Checkout does not require your name, email address, or phone number.
How we use your data
- To generate your sticker and show you a preview.
- To deliver the high-quality sticker after purchase and keep it in your gallery.
- To send magic-link login emails when you ask for them.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service running.
- To measure which ads bring people to the site, by sharing conversion signals with Meta (see below).
We never sell your data. We do share limited advertising-measurement signals with Meta so we can tell which ads work — see Cookies and advertising below.
AI processing
Your uploaded photo is sent to OpenAI's API to generate the sticker artwork. OpenAI processes the image to produce the result; see OpenAI's API data terms for how data is handled.
Who processes your data
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare R2 | Stores uploaded photos and generated stickers |
| Neon | Database (job status, accounts — never image files) |
| OpenAI | AI sticker generation from your photo |
| Google Analytics | Website usage analytics (anonymous) |
| Meta (Facebook) | Ad conversion tracking and retargeting, both in your browser (Meta Pixel) and from our servers (Meta Conversions API) |
| Stripe | Card and Apple Pay processing, fraud prevention, and payment-security device/activity signals |
| Amazon SES | Sends login and notification emails |
| VPS hosting provider | Runs our application servers |
How long we keep it
- Purchased stickers — kept while your account is active so your gallery keeps working.
- Unpaid uploads and previews — deleted after 30 days.
- Everything, on request — email us and we'll delete your photos, stickers, and account.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time by emailing support@petstickermaker.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies and advertising
We use a single first-party session cookie (psm_session) to remember your login.
Google Analytics and Meta Pixel set their own cookies to measure site usage and ad performance
in aggregate. These are the only cookies used on the site — there are no other advertising or
third-party tracking cookies. When you upload a photo or complete a purchase, we also send those
events to Meta directly from our servers (the Meta Conversions API). Those server-side events
include your IP address, browser user agent, Meta's own advertising cookie identifiers, and —
for a purchase — a cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) copy of your email address. We never send
Meta your email in plain text, and we never send them your photo or your sticker.
Stripe.js also processes browser, device, and activity information to prevent payment fraud and may present a security challenge such as hCaptcha when its risk systems require one.
Children
PetStickerMaker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
